first_img Twitter Facebook Pinterest WhatsApp Twitter WhatsApp Facebook Local NewsCrime Pinterest OPD: Man found with 44 grams of cocaine Adolfo Llanez After reportedly attempting to evade officers, a man was arrested Tuesday night in possession of 44 grams of cocaine.Officers conducted a traffic stop around 9:42 p.m. Tuesday night in the 300 block of Crockett Street after they saw a dark colored vehicle speeding on McKnight Drive, an Odessa Police Department news release stated.The front passenger, 31-year-old Adolfo Llanez, immediately exited the vehicle and ran into a residence while throwing an item onto the floor, the release detailed, before being caught and placed into custody.Officers retrieved the item in the kitchen, the release stated, which was reportedly a bag containing around 44 grams of cocaine. Llanez was also found in possession of marijuana and dispatch advised he had a prior conviction for evading.Police charged Llanez with manufacture or delivery of cocaine, a first-degree felony, tampering with physical evidence, a third-degree felony, evading arrest or detention with a prior conviction, a state jail felony, and possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor.Jail records show Llanez was taken to the Ector County Detention Center Wednesday and has four bonds totaling $115,500.
