62, resident of Bayonne, passed away on December 29, 2016. Thomas worked as a teacher for 25 years in Hillside and Elizabeth, NJ, while continuing his education. He graduated with a Masters in Education from Farleigh Dickinson University in 2003. He is most well-known for pioneering the Shop-Rite work study program at Elizabeth High School, which taught his special-needs students real life skills. Tom was also dedicated to the Boy Scouts of America, where he was the Scout leader for many years. He was a member of the former Saint Michael’s and Saint Joseph’s Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is predeceased by both his parents John and Lillian Zuber and his two siblings; Gregory Zuber and Andrea Nuber. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Lori Zuber; His children; Thomas Zuber and his wife Melissa, Daniel Zuber and his wife Antonia, Rhiannon Facchino and her husband Anthony, and Sarah Kavity; His uncle; Father Thaddeus Zuber; His brother-in-law; Gerald Nuber and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
