The list consists of Alabama, LSU, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Clemson, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Ohio State, Penn State, Oklahoma, and Texas.247Sports rates Grimes as the No. 10 overall prospect in the country. He is the No. 1 cornerback in the nation, and the No. 1 recruit from the state of Virginia.Grimes’ Crystal Ball predictions currently have his decision split between Texas A&M and Virginia Tech. Those two programs have split the only two predictions recorded by recruiting analysts over at 247 thus far. As a 2021 recruit, his status is probably still very up in the air.
