(July 25) – Arkansas hard charger Mark Norris took the lead from Carl Murphy with two laps remaining to become the seventh different Bad Boy Mowers IMCA Modified feature winner in eight races so far this season at the Quick-Quarter of Springfield Raceway. In a wild Saturday night feature, most of the pack was chasing Murphy, who jumped to the early lead from his third starting spot while Norris started 11th on the grid. Only Steven Bowers Jr. has won multiple features this season at Springfield. IMCA Modified action continues next Saturday with racing slated to start at 7:15 p.m.
